Peaks and Valleys: Learning To Look To Christ in Life's Highs and Lows | A Study On the Life of David

Jesus is called the Son of David, but David was by no means perfect. His life was full of peaks and valleys–highs and lows in every way, both emotionally, physically, and spiritually. But when you learn to see David as a “type and shadow” of Jesus, the light of the gospel shines forth in his story—and enlightens yours as well.

Peaks and Valleys is a 6-week study that will equip you to:

-Experience Jesus in the lows–and highs–in your life.

-Understand typology and why we should use it as we study God’s Word.

-Discuss David’s role as king and how key events in his life signify our need for Jesus Christ and point to Christ’s fulfillment through His saving work.

-Find conviction and encouragement from the lessons of David’s life so that we can respond in light of the gospel.
